Obviously, this has not been updated in many years, but I have become entranced with the simple idea that these boys could form a happy childhood with John. Really a shame you abandoned this there. It was good thus far, and it could have been great. It would be nice if you added "abandoned" to the description of the story so people don't get invested, though. It is quite irritating to start reading something good and find out that the author will not be finishing it, ever.
