I like this chapter a lot, and I cannot wait to read more.

I like that the bartender gave Emmett a pitying look. Emmett probably gets that a lot, and I bet he hates it. Bay never gave him a look like that.

I like that Emmett is brought back to the last time he got drunk and is filled with so many regrets. I imagine this takes place not long after Emmett's conversation with Travis (on the first day of their junior year), and he is probably filled with fear that Bay will start dating someone. I mean, in his mind, why not? Bay is back in school. She is meeting new people. He's screwed.

I love how at first Emmett thinks of Bay as the girl that broke HIS heart, but that doesn't last long. He knows the truth. As much as he wants to deny it, he cannot.

I love how Emmett imagines them doing stupid teen crap around KC and in his room, on his bed, exploring each other in ways they never got the chance. And now, never will.

I love how much Emmett misses Bay.

Sandy is interesting, as are the questions she forces Emmett to ask himself.

I love how sweet and cautious Emmett is with her. I also love how guilty he feels after they use each other. Emmett is a good person. He really is.

Now, Bay is there. For Emmett.

That hope is flickering in Emmett's heart again. You have me on the edge of my seat. I hope you write more!
