Great job with both the angst and the comfort. You captured Dick's pain and loneliness, as well as how out of his depth Bruce is with parenting. My favorite parts where when Dick explained how he had checked out the cliff before climbing- he's a professional, after all- and when Alfred comforted Dick by listening to him during the bath and bringing him hot chocolate. I also liked the interaction between Bruce and Dick in the last scene. The details of Dick's life before coming to Wayne Manor also enriched the story.

I looked at your profile and saw that none of your stories are marked complete. Usually, I filter out incomplete stories so I don't start reading a wonderful story that hasn't been updated in years. Thankfully, I ran across this story. You might consider marking your stories as complete- it could get you more hits. Just a thought.

This story is wonderful.

You did a great job with all the characters. Poor Dick, you did an excellent job with showing the jealousy and loneliness. The sweet moments between them is just too adorable for words. What a nice way to end this story by having Dick realize that he is loved and accepted.

Nice job with the part where Bruce explains to him that he was not going to marry that woman. It was pretty funny how Dick was the one telling him that they shouldn't be doing that because they weren't married. The comparisons between Dick's parents and Bruce throughout this story are well done.

Wonderful work with all the details. I especially commend you on the scene where Dick is retrieving the ball. The way you described how he grabbed it and pulled himself back up is vivid. Other details such as the hot chocolate and cookies as well as your description when Dick woke from the nap are amazing. You've really brought this story to life.
