i just don't know how to say it in words, but i really love your fic! it moved me to tears, because i love the way you write, and the angst is just bleeding right through. it's sad, really, but it's absolutely beautiful!

Sweet and angsty.. liked a lot!

I felt like this piece was one of the more realistic ones about Joshua and Neku's reunion postgame. It isn't too sweet, nor is it too dramatic. It felt just right - the disappointment and then the surprise and happiness that comes after waiting so long. I laughed a bit when Joshua said that rules were meant to be broken - he's very in character, I really felt like his lines screamed "JOSHUA!" the whole time.

You've really captured Neku's confusion really well, and I enjoyed how you've portrayed Shiki's relationship with Neku. I wonder if she feels disappointed that he only views her as a sister? I mean, she was blushing in-game after finding out about Neku's first entry fee... (Though, I'm not exactly sure how their relationship would go if it was romantic. Neku changed so much in those two weeks she was away... He's like a whole different person. I would have felt left behind if I was in her position.)

But... regardless I'm still a fan of seeing Joshua and Neku together. They have a whole lot more chemistry than Shiki x Neku.

That mind-reading moment made me laugh. For a second I completely forgot about the player pin and went, "WOAH! JOSHUA'S COMPOSER POWERS!" ...Then I laughed when Neku mentioned the Player Pin. He sure is a lot smarter than I am. (I always find it really amusing imagining him as one of the top students in school ... his appearance and the way he hangs out at CAT's graffiti really makes him seem like one of those dangerous guys. Especially when I imagine him in one of those fancy school uniform blazers. His hair would totally stand out.)

I really liked this and how you portrayed the characters. I like how you had Shiki and Neku's relationship, like a brother-sister thing. It was beautifully written, the only advice I could really give is maybe have a more of Neku's shock when Josh gets back? I dunno. I really liked this though, and if you're planning to write more, please do~

This is a very nice, classy piece. A lot of times fics that involve Neku and Joshua have the tendency to get rather racy and unpleasant. You handled the two really well! Nice job on that. :]

I love all of the flashbacks. They add a lot of emotion and thicken the plot so that it doesn't seem like just one story, but many all leading up to the ending where Joshua and Neku meet up after so long. I really just love this!
