*Oh Shit Rock gets taken by the great USA CIA agents. He for sure is fucked! But who knows if they cut deals around for Rock to work for the USA government that is if hes made as a black sheep?

*Rock has a older brother who works for the Japanese government. I wounder if he'll play any relation to the Black Lagoon story. I question if he's aware his young brother alive and I figure that he at least care should he discover his brother is in the hands of the US government. Perhaps he will visit Rock in prison and try to sway some leeway or strike a arrangement between both party of government relations if he has that kind of power.

*I applaud you for writing the works on the CIA agents dialog and workings. It must have been very difficult to write.

*Best rivalry battle ever! It came to be more than I hoped! Every step of the way played out spectacularly!

*I sort of suspect Mr. Chang is still alive however he is badly wouned from being burned by the flammable barrels. I no doubt he could very well return.

*I'm glad the way things ended.

That was very enlightening story along with value of meaning Mr. Ferrari shared. I loved it! It also gave a good look into his character which is big for first impression.

And why the hell does this "reaper" even care about the Triads anyway? He claims that he came back from the dead to avenge himself or something, and that "Rock is dead". If thats the case, he has absolutely no business with Chang. After all, it was Hotel Mosco who betrayed him.

And since Rock is supposedly dead, this reaper should have no reason to care about Roanapur, let alone have any desire to save it.

Just doesnt make any sense.

Man, way to make a complete fool out of Chang. 29 of his men have died over a four year period of time due to "accidents", and he isn't the least bit suspicious? The Russian mob is infamous, the world over, for killing poeple via "accidents", of course he'd know what was going on. He's just as smart and resourceful and ruthless as Balalaika. Hell, he's a better gunman than Revy and that's canon.

And why would they not get any new recruits over 4 years?

If theres one thing Revy knows, it's guns. Rock told her he was collecting information for hotel mosco. Chang told them he was expecting new recruits. A masked man, in military gear, steals the briefcase. And when they follow, they're shot at by another man with a russian military grade rifle.

Come on, there's no way Revy doesn't figure out Rock was set up by Hotel Mosco.

Ha Revy is so Tsundere in the bar scene of this chapter

This story would have been much more believable if Rock got shot but didn't die, in the show he is seen to have some fast reflexes so after Balalika told him the whole story before she shot him he could have moved just enough for the bullet to hit his shoulder instead of his heart. then he could have let himself fall off the cliff noticing a ledge, landed and rolled to cushion the fall then tear up his shirt and make a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. then getting an idea in his head that he should look dead he moves away from the blood that has pooled so it looks like he lost more blood than he actually has. Revy sees his body and thinks him dead.

I've read the story in one go, and I have to say, it's fucking awesome! I mean, this shit rivals Rei's work, in my opinion. It's really incredible to see the story work out and such, to have not an op Rock and it nearly blew my mind, in short. I'm very much looking forward to the sequel, which I will begin to read after I left this review.
