This was written so beautifully! It sounds like it would fit in perfectly in the movie!

This fic is great! I've never (had the chance) to watch the movie or anything but I'm rabidly interested in it, and that's why I was even trawling through this fandom this morning. Now, after reading your story, I'm truly dead-set on getting my hands on the DVD or whatever it comes in (all the more surprising because I'm just 15 and in my country no one below 18 can watch it).

So many pairings in here! Kit-Will, Will-Richard, Will and whoever it is he calls 'Juliet'. And the Queen is magnificently irreverent and funny too. I'm a little late for the party but please please please WRITE ANOTHER CHAPTER!

I'm just watching Shakespeare in Love on TV and glad that someone else noticed the possibility of Marlowe/Shakespeare slash, the story was really good, loved the ending.

very nice. i could see the characters perfectly, and will was just shakespearean enough to be recognisable without being overblown. im sure he never spoke exactly the way he wrote, and you make him live. Controversy abounds though...kit and will sittin in a tree...committin buggery! i dont subscribe to that theory, but makes a nice twist!

i really thought this was a nice scene, especially with its historical context and intrigue. did you see the modern play Elizabeth rex? it was set the night of essex's execution, vey good.

p.s dont you think its got a nice shakespearean 'play within a play' feel that you are writing fanfiction about something which is essentially fan fiction? te he!

Hey I love the part about Juliet going to the football feild and watching Romeo play! It was so adorable! Especially at the end when Juliet ran onto the feild and slips into Romeo's arms! Then that moment of silence~!

delightful, darling! ioved it! _ personally, i love the idea of merlowe and shakespeare together. a prequel about kit and will would be excellent! (interesting tidbit: there's been a lot of speculation that will *did* have a male lover at some point- it's based on a bunch of his sonnets that seem to be about a young man!)
