That was, in all it's brevity, the most heartachingly tearful thing ever.

Being the happy ending junky I am, I usually read happier fics... but this is a very satisfying way to imagine Garrus and Shepard going out, if all else failed. A truly bittersweet story.

After being a miserable wreck following the ending in Mass Effect 3, this is great. A last stand with Garrus is how I see Shepard going in the game...how I'd preferred the game to end anyway. I love this. Thank you.

Nice and touching story. I like the last stand idea as it is rarely used in fanfictions, though it seems to me a highly likely outcome.
