I've avoided the whole Prentiss is dead but really isn't story arc and haven't begun watching season 7 yet. Its fics like this that are giving me the courage to weather out the pain I know my favorite boy genius will be feeling. :)

Nice job. I thought this was particularily well phrased/told:

It wasn't until the team was moving around and were about to start cooking for themselves, that Morgan reached out and took Reid's hand. Prentiss was the first to look at them and notice, and the rest of the team soon noticed too. None of them said anything, though. They realised what this was, why Reid and Morgan were revealing this secret: it was the beginning of rebuilding the team's trust, a sign from Reid and Morgan that they could and would forgive what had happened. They would be able to go back to normal, because they had each other to help them.

"I love you, Derek," Reid whispered.

"I love you too, pretty boy," Morgan whispered back. And when he kissed Reid, the rest of the team couldn't help but smile.

You took the thoughts right from my head XD. I was like 'Yeah... there has to be a reason why Morgan got up from the chair so fast when the doorbell rang.'

This was a good one shot and I wish this had happened also, or that Reid at least spoke to Morgan on the jet. And we're still waiting for Morgan to call him pretty boy again.

I know you're not far into the 7th season yet, but there is one moment coming up that you'll be happy with or at least be like 'Oh come on!'

And I'll ask you about a story again that I asked you about back in November if that's okay with you. I'm just really looking forward to seeing it.

this was too cute :3 very well written. Poor Reid I remember that episode when Prentiss came back I was very very happy also I was very upset too because of what they did to Reid and not just Reid Morgan too. they did know how much trust issues Reid had with people leaving him and the guilt Derek carried around thinking he could have saved her, but I understand why they did what they had to do. to protect Emily and they were ordered not to say anything. as I said before very good loved it :)
