This was such a great story! I really think the whole Bella thinking Jasper was putting her to bed and covering her with a comforter to take care of her, while he was really covering her with dirt and stones will stick with me the most. It feels so much bigger than just this story. It's like a metaphor for life. In the naivety of youth, you think someone is caring and helping you only to realize later that they were really only looking out for themselves and burying you in the process. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but either way it guts me. Bella realizing what he did was easily the worse part of the story to me.

Unless most Twi fics I've read, this one only takes characters and the world of Twilight, not important plot elements too. And I really appreciate that! I like how Bella is the main protagonist from the beginning and although I struggle with Jasper (and the others too) being misogynist I have to admit it is fitting: him loving Bella will not change his world view and he is an asshole in every way - just not to her anymore, eventually...
