Man... I'd only faintly thought of what it might be like to be a movie character vs. a real character, but goddamn, you really explored it here and showed just how sad it was. I knew I was in for a feels ride with the description of Director Blue getting older and dying, and I was right.

I just wish I knew what to say other than that this fic is beautiful. It wonderfully and succinctly explores the feelings of the denizens of Movieland, especially Alastor and his freaking amazing character development, as the heroes of the real world begin to age while they mostly stay the same. The hopeful note it ends on really helps ease the weight of the characters' deaths without completely erasing their impact, too.

By the way, who's the certain online author you're referring to? I'd love to see her work if it's still around.
