That... was really well written! You managed to convey your meaning here perfectly and got the characterisation just right.

A worthy addition to my favourites tab. :D
CloudCarnivore chapter 1 . 7/10/2017
I love a overprotective and possesive Bee. No idea why but its the best. I wonder if there are any other fics with overprotective or a possesive Bee...
Purple Lulu chapter 1 . 6/24/2017
When I think of the best transformer fics, I think of this one. I'm seriously in love with your perspective on the transformers. Amazingly creative and unique! I wish I could set an atmosphere like yours, it's like its own experience.

Hell Hath No chapter 1 . 12/3/2014
i'm also seeing this from bee's POV, that Sam is so undeniably human and will die sooner or later so he's gonna spend as much time as physically possible with him now...

Anonymous chapter 1 . 2/8/2013
Touches the right emotional chords without it being too much one way or the other. There are so very few stories that address this and it is excellently written.

There are always some growing pains when parents realize that they aren't the most important person in their child's life and the kids don't need them the way they once did. But sometimes parents need to ask for time with their kids to do something fun with them, like fishing, playing games, or just watching a movie, when they are teenagers, even if the kids roll their eyes, whatever, to maintain a connection with them. It's important to get a sense of how the kid is doing and in later years the kid will appreciate that time.

It also leaves me wondering if Ron is reading things right because is it in his pov. Is it just a bit of jealousy seeing himself replaced or has Bee really taken the place Ron thinks he has and with deliberation? Ron may simply not be able to read the interactions with an alien being as he would another human and is terrified of the world his son may be increasingly pulled into, which we know does occurr. If Ron is right, it definitely presents a more complex character of Bee.
scarlette16 chapter 1 . 2/2/2013
Wow, Bee's kinda' lost it, huh? Reminds me of one of your 'what ifs' in another fanfic of yours, where he really loses it.
AlexMercer125 chapter 1 . 12/9/2012
God, this fanfic made me cry it was so amazing! Especially at this part:

" Guys just didn't do scared.

Especially not dads; dads couldn't be scared of anything. They had to be tough. They had to be able to beat up the monster under the bed and send it crying for its mommy. They had to be the one thing their kid could depend upon come hell or high water. And that kind of job description didn't leave any room for being scared.

If he couldn't protect his son from dark shadowy things lurking in the closet, who would?"

But what makes me cry even more is the lack of updates on Instability! The normal version! What's up with that one? Have you discontinued it? Please let us now if you have!
Ayngel chapter 1 . 10/13/2012
