This is possibly the best example of a cross-faction forbidden love story that I have read.
The emotions are amazingly portrayed and believable, particularly the doubts that Red Alert and Shockwave have, and the bittersweet ending. The saddest, and yet, one of the most satisfying ends to a fic that I have seen.

What a bittersweet ending.

Wonderful! The last two chapters brought tears to my eyes. I'm trying not to cry right now... LOL! *wipes away a tear threatening to fall* Thank you so much for this story. It made me laugh, cry, everything... :D

I wonder, why it seems that barely anyone is reading this. This is one of the most unusual pairings I've seen, considering Red Alert and Shockwave haven't had any interaction with eachother in the show itself. Unusual means INTERESTING in Fanfiction Language :3 Primus, why can't Red Alert and Shockwave be together just in peace? Love doesn't win the war, I guess. But, maybe it does...

Oh goodness, I am sad that Jhiaxus had to die in battle when he had tried to leave that all behind. I am anxious to know how Red Alert going after will Shockwave will go.

Okay, so this is a story that I have been procrastinating on reading and I am so glad that Lecidre's art has finally given me the kick I needed to read all eleven chapters in one day. I loved this chapter, although how Shockwave is going to or if he is going get to Red Alert is a conundrum.

The Wedding Singer quote made me laugh so much. It fit Sentinel so well.

Only 14 reviews? I feel guilty for not going through and reviewing the previous chapters to this as well as the story that precedes this one, but even if I did so I simply could not find the words to express how amazing Never Was and Never Will Be are (even the titles are clever).

These stories are works of absolute brilliance. I sat down and read them both today and now I simply cannot get my mind off of them. You know a writer has done his/her job when a reader walks away from the story more than eager to come back, and for that I thank you.

I can only ask that you update soon so that I may fill this obsession I currently have with Shockwave and Red Alert. Once again, thank you, and please update soon.
