Oh, the angst of a lonely, picked on child never truly goes away does it? A neat and sad full circle. It's funny how the same old pattern of pain can keep repeating itself over and over. Human nature is much the same the world over, mores the pity. Very well done.

This is a lovely story with some beautiful description. It evokes a feeling of sadness and history. Keep writing more stories.
