I know this is eight years too late but I just wanted to say that I adore this work. The relationship progression is actually amazing and I like to imagine that Lovino got himself a matching Antonio behind his ear.

This is the second story I ever added to my top Spamano fics and my second time reading this and I have to say it was wonderful all over again. I try to forget stories so I can experience them again later, but I ended up remembering a lot about your story, even though it's been 3 years. I think it really made an impression on me and I loved the relationship between Lovino and Antonio in this too much to force myself to forget. I just love everything about this story and how they fell for each other and progressed their relationship to the fully developed one at the end. I loved all the characters (of course) and the way you did them was fantastic and on point. Im glad to know that I still think this story is one of the best in the fandom. Thank you for writing this!

This is honestly so amazing. Like, omg. I LOVE how it's a balanced mix of smut and plot! The smut isn't overwhelming and is actually complimentary to the whole story! Ugh, I wish I can write a longer, juicier review, but I'm on my phone and it's morning and I stayed up all night reading this so I'm hella tired (and not to mention, lazy)! Anyway, this is such a great story, and I'd definitely recommend this to any spamano fan, because it's absolutely phenomenal! I love Lovi's hardworking edge, and Antonio's persistence, and I just love how...REAL they seemed to me! Ofc, I was reading during night so I might be feeling extra emotional, but even so, I can"5 deny that this is one hell of a story! Like seriously. SERIOUSLY.

This is a beautiful story, and it had me laughing in every chapter. You perfectly captured their characters and their little quirks and I honestly felt like I was watching the anime as it was happening. I have been reading allot of Spamano recently, in the past month probably a hundred fics, and this is defiantly in my top five. At first I was a little spectacle in the interpretation of Antonio, I just kept saying to myself “he seems so…French” but then I figured Spain is the country of passion, and it really did work. While I love angsty fan fiction there is a special place in my heart for ones that take the time to go through daily life and develop the relationship completely from start to finish. And one that combines a good, long, and interesting story line with a healthy amount of good smut, that’s hard to find. Defiantly a diamond in the rook, I am so happy I found it!
And I was so excited when I learned you had written one for Gerita. Seriously, I have allot of trouble finding fan fiction I really like for this paring and I am ready to dive right in, hoping for the story line and smut balance you so masterfully gave us in this fic.

Wonderful story! I'm kind of a lurker, this is my 4th reread and I've only gotten around to posting a review now. I'll admit, I was thoroughly disturbed at Antonio's clueless rapist personality in the beginning (and it still disturbs me) - getting someone drunk just to have sex with them is not okay Antonio, no matter how good looking you are. It's still not okay if you stay around to say 'goodbye' the morning after. Lovino also doesn't call him out on it as much as I'd expect him to.

Other than that, I loved everything about this story - the way you both decided to portray Lovino as a noble, hardworking and feisty businessman, the mutual dependence that the Italy brothers have for each other, and to top it off...CUTE WORK DOGS! I'm such a sucker for puppies and dogs and working dogs! Considering the fact that Germany has 3 dogs and every nation has a cat (or cats if you're Greece), they really don't turn up enough in fanfiction.

I also enjoyed Root of Attraction, and I appreciated how Ludwig and Lovino are actually quite similar. Thanks for the fics!

The ending was so cute! I love dogs! Making Feliciano blind was a really creative way of explaining why everyone coddles him and why Lovino is the way that he is, low self-esteem and all. Loved it when Antonio was yelling at Grandpa Rome about it. Great story! :D
