Beautiful. I loved it, it was simple, powerful and poetic. Their relationship is perfect, not really defined at first, and finally there's this wonderful hope. It is really important to have stories about Getting Better, so thank you very much.

Your Rose is amazing. She was broken when her brother died and she probably didn't know which direction to go to (and you wrote that brilliant...bloody brillant) and then Scorpius came and he helped her and her feelings for him just grow and idk but my heart broke and wow.

And then Scorpius...he was willing to be there for Rose and he blames himself for Hugo's death and wow. He's just adourable and maybe a little broken and was willing to be there for her and they had their first kiss in New Zealand and WOOH I LOVE NZ anyway yeah it's just sweet.

/They leave the party late, returning to Scorpius' flat, which is cold and dusty after being left empty for so long. Scorpius warms up the space with magic, and they crawl into bed, into the same bed, finally.

I love you, Rose tells him, quietly, and he can feel it's true in the way the words reverberate in his heart.

I love you too, Rose, he replies./

AND THIS IS BEAUTIFUL AND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH THIS IS WHAT I SOB AT BECAUSE THIS IS A ENDING TO A BEAUTIFUL STORY AND IT IS A HAPPY ENDING AND-

Wow, this is possibly the most amazing RoseScorpius I've read in a long time - I'm jealous. Your characters, Scorpius, everything...I'm kind of brain-dead at the moment for a coherent review, but I really loved this! Great job!

Incredibly well-written.

I mean, your style, it's so detailed, even while so short.

And the plot. Genius, absolutely genius, and the way that Rose blames herself and all, it's so realistic.

The story's so /honest/ and the mood and emotions and your format, it all makes this wonderful piece that makes me want to listen to angry metal music and curl in a corner and cry.

okay so your format of no speech marks was brilliant, really. i had to read one sentence three times before understanding that she was talking to scorpius but even with speech marks it wouldn't have made a difference - i honestly think i'm just suffering from lack of food i must eat um

actually until reading this i never realised quite how ugly speech marks are

ahem

okay so hugo's dead which is horrifically sad

like i can't even

but then it's the perfect way to start your plot, really

BY THE WAY YOUR PLOT WAS PURE LOVE. I ADORED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS STORY, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT WASN'T A CLICHÉ PLOT WHERE I COULD GUESS EVERY NEXT MOVE. IT WAS AMAZING AND ORIGINAL.

and ohmyGAWD they kissed in NEW ZEALAND. FUCK YES. KIWI APPRECIATION FTW.

Rose was absolutely heartbreaking. I adored her characterisation and how well she worked with SCORPIUS, with this plot - it was just fantastic. I was so sad about how she was interacting with everyone because it was devastating but it was so beautiful. She's just a beautiful mess and ohgod I loved her.

Scorpius. SCORPIUS. ohmygod can i have one. he is honestly the greatest thing ever, and that is including my one true love, blue candy floss. He saved her and it was just amazing. The fact that Hugo went to see him was so devastating and that section about what he should have told him - ohmygod. Lucy, you just summed up how to remember you're still alive, and it was a brilliant epiphany to lend to Scorpius' character. What he did for Rose was so amazing and beautiful and I love him so much and yes Lily hates him but she thanks him and he saved Rose not Romione so him not forgiving them for not saving her was such a great way to round off his character and the ending with Draco was just brilliant

And also the themes of being separate and beds and how they're finally in the same bed was just so fab and ygbkm I'm still dead okay so I've forgotten something I adored I bet but
