Emyrs and Merlin are one in the same. Just Emyrs represents never ending duty and pessimism. Merlin really should've just told the girl the truth what with all the no lies thing. jeez it's like he doesn't know the first rule of a relationship show loyalty no matter what and never lie(unless it's for like a surprise for example a surprise dinner or something)

I am so sad that this didn't continue! It was such a good fic. Too bad you stopped writing it 5 years ago... I doubt you will even see this. If you do though, please consider continuing this story. It is so good! Not to mention, that last chapter was insane!

damn, that was a terrible place for it to stop... now I can't help but forever wonder if that was Mordred impersonating 'Emrys' but then why would Merlin be the one who was hurt? Doesn't make sense! But without the next chapter what will I do, what to think?! X_X
