I agree with Emily's assement on Golden retrievers, they're cute but... Everybody has them. I like a little variety!I wouldn't go for a poodle instead... They're great dogs but i prefer my dogs to be furry instead of hairy. I'd probably go for an Old English sheep dog, they're so wonderful! I like Leonbergers too but they look more like bears than dogs, i swear they're bigger than newfies. Hahah, this tiny little Chinese lady has three Newfoundlands around here, they take her for a walk everyday!

Ah gentle dogs. My parents had to give their dog to my nan when i was born because it had a serious case of jealousy. I would have much preferred it if they had a retriever...

I loved that Emily is the one that is resistant to the dog. I always feel like she'd be the one to advocate for the family pet but this fit perfectly! You're transition between scenes was brilliant. As soon as she said no kids I was like yea right but you came up with a nice medium. Overall great story and I LOVE the story of his name. I was definitely not expecting that! hahaha
