Kuroda-style, awesome~

I appreciated finding good Gokusen fanfiction, especially this one. I wouldn't doubt this could happen.

aaawww ! I loved it !
Shin-chan is ... he is just le man every woman dreams to get 3 ! Strong, a will of steel, kind hearted, so damn hot ! I don't usually read one shot (too short !) but this one is well written, the idea (the talk about the wedding with Shin's parents) is pretty intresting ans unusual, and moreover, it's based on the manga (and not the drama) ! ... in short a very good fic ! Thanks a lot !
Hmmm, I don't review a lot, so since I'm writing one, I'll just put a word about another of your fanfication I read : Inked. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw ! Soooooo damn good ! You put forward the Yakuza world, and the idea of the tatoo was great (so damn cool !) There're very few fanfictions as good as this one in the gokusen fandom, so thanks so much for sharing !
I think it's about all I wanted to say ... well, maybe just sorry for the mistakes, I read a lot in English, but I don't speak it or write it much so ... ah, and keep writing, reading your work is a real pleasure for us !

Could it be that I missed it somehow? Both scenes are very believable anyway...

I really like this peice. There are very few good ShinKumi manga writers out there.

I always pictured Sawada as putting on a good public face, and getting the kumi into ledgitimate business though, since he commented "I want to protect them and clean them up from the inside " in the manga. He'd keep the essential Yakuza spirit alive of course, just blend in better. I don't suppose I could entice you to write a short fic along that line? I also have always wanted to se more of Shin in college. I love how you portrayed that in "Kiss With a Fist".

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!

First off, I just want to say WOW I GOT A SHOUT-OUT ;A; I feel outrageously special and kind of self-confident now. As if my opinion is important to ALL of the people and et cetera and I'm happy. So happy ;_; I don't get many shout-outs and the small claim made me feel like I am your own personal Gokusen fan, which I am, so don't even worry babyboo anytime you need a mood-bringer I am here for you e.e Forver.

So on to the review before I creep you out more.

I liked how Shin's mom, at the end, actually "defied" her over-bearing husband, and went to her son's wedding despite knowing what he was marrying into. And then when she actually spared the time to get to know Kumiko, as well as Ryuuichiro, it made me happy that she's reaching out a little and trying to feel for her son. It was a nice touch, because she's always been very demure and passive, and she was standing up for herself.

Shin smoking was a nice image ;D It totally squeezes in with his bad-boy persona and I kind of like how Yankumi went all teacher on him for a second and ragged on him about it. But yeah, he smoked a little, so it was nice to see that thrown in here.

As always Shin's father is a douche. I suppose it's unnecessary to state that I dislike him, but then again he isn't very likeable in general so that's not saying much. The fact that Shin cared enough about Yankumi's wishes to tell his parents (Despite Shin's sneaky go-along-with-it plan just to shove it in his parents faces what he's become) was kind of touching and sweet, since we all know how much he detests even entering the abode. I don't blame him, his life there was kind of completely awful.

The wedding wasn't very detailed but I loved it anyway just because it was Shinkumi ;A; I don't know, I just...hm. How to word. Since their relationship is so taboo and their personalities so damned VOLATILE and fiery I suppose that a sweet fluffy wedding really is out of the question. I'm glad you didn't really delve into it too much, because that would have taken away from the main point of the story, which I assume was to delve a bit into Shin's home life as well as his mother and his relationship with his family. I appreciated that.

I DID enjoy reading it. A lot. More than a lot, simply because you're fantastic at depicting them and all the characters. You can wrap their personalities around your finger and twist them to whatever the fuck you want them to do :'D It's a rare ability. It may have just been a little something that you didn't know what to do with, but I'm insanely happy you posted it c:

I loved it. How wonderful to read your Gokusen writing once more! I do the same as you, I re-read all of Gokusen once or twice a year, just to boot my spirit as to how much I love the story. You really did pull out how honorable the Ooedo family is, and the Yakuza themselves. I love that about Gokusen, and you did a fine job portraying it as well. Thank you!

well he was always destined to Yakuza greatness! I adore this short, especially with his mother coming to the wedding. Your gokusen fics are some of my favorites, I like how you slip in details such as the tattoo and the cigarette making such a full and colorful life
