Something that I forgot to add in my review is that it might be interesting to see flashes of Harrys' discarded memories about Voldemort return if she touches or comes into close contact with his Horcruxes. Like the locket he appears to be wearing under his shirt or the ring or even his diary. Also, there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy between how book-smart we were told Iris was at the start and how she seems to be as shown in some of the comments Hermione makes. The third thing is something I did mention and that's having more moments of Harry's knowledge slipping out, maybe a patronus scene or something of the sort.

While this admittedly suffers from a bit of a slow start largely due to a few longwinded descriptions in the early chapters. The concept alone was more than worth reading through, that's not to say any of it was poorly written. It's just that most fanfiction readers have read renditions of the first year so many times it can be a bit tiring if not focused in a unique way. I'm very glad that I opted to continue as by the sixth or so chapter it begins to dramatically improve and continues to do so for the remainder of the story. The main thing that would improve future chapters(if you plan to continue) might be to condense the years a bit better. I admire the ambition of attempting to rewrite the entire series from scratch but at 343,000 words I had thought this might have ended towards the end of the fourth year rather than the beginning of the third. Again I don't consider this anything more than a common flaw seen across many fanfiction stories. That said, I wouldn’t say that any of the issues warrant a rewrite, it's sort of expected for writers to improve, particularly on a project that's spanned a number of years.

I adored how you went about describing the intricacies of magic, I’d never seen it expressed in such a novel way and each time it was used it left me utterly enchanted. Iris's ability to 'see' magic and the way it becomes another, stronger sense to her really added something wonderful to the story. The duel with the bloody baron in this most recent chapter was absolutely phenomenal, I had wondered when Iris might accidentally show off some of her true knowledge. In truth, I had hoped that there'd be more flashes of it, similar to what we saw in her battle with Narcissa. Usually, adding a flashback in a battle scene might throw the reader off but it really worked in this case and it was a smart way to show us the rest of her earlier conversation with Tom about learning the spell.

I've got to say that I don’t think I’ve ever loathed Dumbledore more than in this story and I mean that as a compliment. Often writers resort to senseless bashing when they want you to share their characters' dislike for a specific character. This was very much a case of showing in place of outright telling the reader to hate him. Making Lily's stand against him even more incredible than it might have otherwise been.

I also want to congratulate you on your recovery from cancer, it amazes me that you managed to write during such a difficult time. I do hope you’ll come back to this in the future, I’d have loved to see what you had planned for the Triwizard tournament and the later years, the second wand is especially of interest to me.

you truly have a way with interesting chapter for someone like me who has read thousands of fanfics and has gotten boredbut still is suffering from IAOWHP (I AM OBSESSED WITH HARRY POTTER)

Just saying inside not the muggleborns job to learn about the old religion especially if they're new to magic it's the job of those with experience sothe "purebloods have no one to blend but themselves".
