Hey! I was thinking about this story the other day, wanted to see how your writing's going, and I come upon news of revisions! That is great indeed. I'm a fan of overhauling myself, seeing as I've subjected my WIP to it quite a few times. Well, I'm off to AO3 to check the new version out!

wow...legolas is soo entitled.

Braedia and Eomer have known each other for years, whereas Braedia has known Legolas for a matter of days. I genuinly feel, Eomer was in the right. He feels awkward having to meet the woman who rejected him...how is Eomer to know that Braedia had a change of heart. It is even more weird for Eomer to see Braedia run to Legolas first after the war and it must have been frustrating to find her sleeping in Legolas's room.

Braedia just straight up forgot about Boromir after having received news of his death. She is soo assured that she has Eomer to fall back on that she is heart-broken because eomer did not fall on his knees as soon as he saw her.

The problem with most OC-based fics is that, the story revolves around them completly.

Eomer is also a human being with his own feelingsand Legolas should respect them instead of wanting to "shake Eomer until he realises what is in front of him". Legolas should really know boundaries.

the few sites I visited about Rohan said the men of Rohan were originally Northmen of Rhovanion. some did serve gondor and thus became men of gondor, however a small population of northmen soon formed the rohirrim. the lands of rohan was land was given to the first king of rohan from a steward of gondor. am I reading the wrong pages of rohans history?

apart from that I love your story so far!

As one who has already read "Heart of a Horselord" and "The Ugly Duckling of Dol Amroth," I can easily say your story is just as good as theirs! (I personally like some aspects of it better, as I prefer stories that take place with someone actively in the events of the war, but I digress) your writing is beautiful, and I love the friendship with Legolas! Although I would like to know the name of his love :p keep up the good work!

I loved how you portrayed the kiss... I've been LOTR-fanfic-diving of late and all kissy scenes are all like...

"And then [insert LOTR character here] sent [insert his/her here] tongue and lapped the lips of [insert OC/other LOTR character name here], begging to come in. [Insert weird metaphors about caverns and... stuff...? here]"

And I'm all like:

"UMMM? NO?! That, my good pudding pop, is a French kiss. Origin: (gasp!) FRANCE! *hands author a map of Middle-Earth* Now tell, me fellow human being with eyeballs-and-hopefully-common-decency-and-RESPECT :D! Where do you see France on this map! :D"

Grrr... Anyone else (reading through the reviews) feel that way about Middle-Earth love? (Voice your opinions in your head, cause I, in fact, have no account. :D)

Tolkien's view of "Love" was... Deeper than kissing and touchy feels...

In Beren and Luthien, Luthien gave up her IMMORTALITY to LIVE throughout the days of their mortal lives in each other's arms and to LOVE. Not have touchy feels and French Kisses.

Like they could look in each others eyes and that was all the convincing they needed to know they were loved. They didn't NEED the kissing and touchy feels, but they enforced their obvious love with the innocent kisses (like Legolas did, not saying this is a Legolas story). Am I a naive little girl for believing that? *blinks Bambi eyes*

Well, got that off my chest... :)
