O O F on the sequel that hasn’t been updated in eight years orz

I happened upon the first story, read it in 3 hours, then read this in another two, and of course, managed to miss that it was last updated in August of 2012. Of course all the good fics have to be discontinued. I guess I should actually review it. While I believe that Harry is much better as a character in this story, Kate is not. I think her character worked far better in the previous story, not to mention, you can decide whether you want her to be mad at Harry. Also, the entire feel of Hero Complex just felt better to read, but maybe that's just me.

This sequel is the perfect example of how you ruin an original well written story with a disappointing ending..

Really Harry disappears for 5 years and offers no explanations to kate but has the time to inform his Aunt... What kind of fucked up logic is it ? This story is tedious to read and thoroughly uninspiring

I literally just read Hero Complex and all four chapters of Separation Anxiety and I'm so hooked. I wish it weren't over. I felt so enthralled with seeing the magical world through a muggle's perspective. I've been hardcore shipping Kate/Harry since the first book. I've just been enjoying this so much.

I hope one day you return to finish this. Thank you for writing this gem! It's been a wonderful read and I've loved every second of it. It's been a great distraction while I deal with some stuff and has kept me smiling throughout all the hard days. It's also reminded me to keep pushing to finish my own fanfics. Thank you so much for writing this. I'm going to keep imagining all the possible outcomes for Kate, hopefully a happy one with Kate/Harry getting together(much much wishful thinking).

Pretty much stopped reading fanfics a few years back but I still keep this in my faves so I can come back to it whenever I'm going through a rough patch or just feeling low. Love how real and relate-able the characters are, Kate is someone I can empathise with and feel a close affinity for and the canonical characters are older more mature versions of how they appeared in the books. Just love the idea of a Muggle experiencing and being stupefied by the clandestine and dangerous magical universe, you do a great job of building both the real and magical worlds which makes it easy to slip into your character's shoes and feel like you're witnessing and feeling everything they feel. I really wish some talented FF writer would get a hold of this and bring it to a satisfying conclusion because there's so much unrealised potential in this! Some of the plot points I'd like to be developed further: how witches and wizards interact with and treat non magical folk, (the scene at the Leaky Cauldron was so fascinating!) ,the delicious 'will they won't they' romantic subplot between the two leads and finally what are those Dark Wizards after?

I read hero complex way back when and was excited to read separation anxiety and now here its been over four years but if you even still read fanfiction and don't write I just wanted to let you know how much I've liked your stories.

Too bad you didn't follow up on this fic. It's pretty cool :).

You can tell this is a good fanfic when there are still people to this day (4 years later) who are still interested in this fic. Hope you come back with an update and finish this one day. Truly one of the best HP fics that centers around a muggle OC.

You need to seriously update this! It's so good, and I'm dying to know what happened in those five years and why Harry never contacted her again.
