i hope you don't mind my curiosity, but i just found this fic and although a little disappointed at the lack of change to the Eragon canon, i really like it so far, and i was really excited when i reached the final chapter of the sequel you wrote.

could you tell me how many chapters you have re-written so far?

Major problem here. Warhammer dragons can speak. They're highly intelligent creatures. Hell Minaithnir (Canon Imrik's dragon), once gave him a prophecy that the dragons would all die in Rhana Dandra.

Dont bother with canon of Eragon and change the story so we can see Emryk arrival in this world as significant change in this conflict

You’re just repeating exactly what happened in Eragon but making it so Imrik is the reason for some of it. Like how unoriginal are you? Instead of making a true what if scenario where Imrik’s presence has an ACTUAL effect on the story of Eragon; you literally repeat the same story just with an added character.

Might as well be a commentary instead of a fanfiction

What sort of thing are you rewriting it to do? Though the narrative did tend to plod somewhat in places I thought both fics were otherwise inoffensive.

Maybe I'm tainted by personal experience. I was courting a girl who was receptive at the time, she suddenly found a transfer student attractive and blatantly came on to him for like two weeks, I moped for a bit and then decided she wasn't worth it. She came back after he rejected her and told me she just needed to clear her head. Yeah no. Saphira comes across this way a bit. If she and Gwihir are gonna work out they need to be mindful of each other's feelings. It seems like Gwihir is treated as the second choice something like "oh I'd much rather this old and distinguished dragon but he won't mate with me so you're up." And Gwihir is somehow at fault for not encouraging the fascination? Seems unfair to me. Saphira is free to pursue her interests. Gwihir also has the freedom to respond negatively to being led on like that.

This has been and continues to be a very good story, and the rewrite, from the small teaser provided, appears to promise more of the same, so I will wait eagerly for the completed new version. Have fun, and Godspeed you in this endeavor.
