When a Caskett story ends with Kate telling Castle that she loves him, then that constitutes a good story!

Kissed her neck! Cool!

Really different than the episode, but still has Castle bringing her to the surface! Good read!

I think I like this scenario much better than the actual episode. Then again I was ready for them to be together since thed 1st episode of season 4 and even earlier in season 3. Anyway I love all yout stories!

I absolutely love this as a scenario for Kate hearing him declare his love again. Very nicely done.

I liked this line:

It's nothing she hasn't heard before, really, and all things considered, an ambulance gurney after almost drowning probably constitutes an improvement from the green grass of a bright-lit cemetery, with your blood rushing out of your chest.

I could feel their weariness and numbness! Fabulous description throughout.

This was my favorite part:

"Sorry," he says inanely, noticing the blue, pulsing vein that runs down the column of her neck.

A beautiful place to kiss.

He leans in and presses his mouth to it, gratitude and swirling relief and a burst of feeling that he cannot contain.

I so prefer this to what actually happened in the episode! Not that it's hugely different, but this is more subtle and just more right.
