Hard to believe Roberto could be related to such horrible people. I guess that's just one more thing he and Rahne had in common...
As bad as this looks, I know Rahne's faith and her friends will bring her through this and I'm interested to see what you have for us in the future. Your writing continues to impress.

Loved the first chapter, Keep it up!

That part with Remy and Rogue was really good...nice to read something uplifting.

On the flip side, that was a great cliffhanger with Rahne and Roberto's family...thinks don't look good for my favorite character.
I hope you can update again soon, but I remember what grad school was like. Oh and don't be too flustered about a 2 yr hiatus...I'm just back after 10 to write a new story about Rahne.
Again, excellent job, I'll be watching this story.

Remy and Rogue continue to be interesting. I'm also very curious about Kurt's mission and why he still can't be honest with Kitty and Rahne about it.

You hit close to home with this chapter. I had that same conversation Kitty and Sam had one night after a really bad call...
On a lighter note, you really are doing a great job with this story and I'm interested to see what happens with Kurt. He needs to get himself in order, Rahne is in enough pain already without nightmares like that one.

You continue to do a great job capturing the loss and pain the characters are experiencing. It's painful to read sometimes, but its a great story, one of the best I've seen around here since I got back. You really seem to understand the characters, especially Rahne and while this is a different take on Kurt, I like it.

I think you've done a good job with this chapter. Honestly, it got to me and I almost wanted to cry with her. I think you did a good job of capturing all the pain she's in and how her emotions are just going crazy. I've worked as a first responder and I've seen this too many times...never get used to it. This feels real to me.

Having followed her in the comics for years, this is all the more painful, because all she ever wanted was to have a family who loved her...
