I've read and enjoyed this before and I hope to read and enjoy it again. While I'm not really into "2nd gen" stories, I do adore this bit of one.

I liked this! It's very much an original take on "the after years" and in all honesty makes me want MORE! Very well done!

I like "Hedwig's Parliament". I'd definitely read a fanfic dedicated to their "missions". Same with "Minerva's Marauders".

To answer the question in your second author's note, no, I don't think Tonks would have picked Ginny to be Teddy's godmother. To honest, I don't remember godmothers even being mentioned in canon. It might have been there, but I don't remember it if it was.

As far as the Dumbledore issue goes, I tend to fall on Hermione's side of the argument. It says in canon that Dumbledore knew what he was condemning Harry to with the Dursleys and I'm assuming that he knew that based on his own reconnaissance and didn't just base it on what Minerva told him at the very beginning of the series. He may have said that putting Harry in that house using Lily's blood protection was meant to keep him safe, but he knew how Harry would be treated there and he didn't put a stop to it because he knew that's how he needed Harry to be treated if Harry was to willingly sacrifice himself later on. And that's just one of the issues I have with Dumbledore. I actually find myself agreeing with Aberforth's take on him in canon the further I get from having read the books or watched the movies.

Don't forget that Dumbledore knew Harry would come back after his death since Voldemort sealed the magic by taking his blood and by sacrificing Harry would invoke the protection charm on everyone on the castle if only Snape told Harry about the plan earlier they have less casualties, so i blame Severus he always hated Harry who knows maybe he feed potions to Harry and Hermione so they fall for Weasleys, and since he doesn't get Lily that could be his revenge against James and his son.

I love the whole Hedwig's Parliament thing! I also have to say that I find myself loving what happened to the trio that were harassing muggleborns. This is a wonderful wonderful story.
