Oh my. This is my favorite of the three, I think. The first got me because it was so very Castle, his helplessness and the way he turned to writing to fix it, or to stave it off until he could fix it, and then the second one was all fast-paced and breathless, but this one... this one slowed down and it was torturous and beautiful at once. You really got me on so many levels. Obviously on the pain factor, because geez, I've been through similar experiences for both and they are not fun. At all. So I could relate there. I really, really loved the way they pushed each other to heal, and pushed each other to rest, too. It's a side of their relationship that is on the show, but buried beneath the rush of solving cases. So I'm glad you brought that out.

I usually wait until the end to review but I just wanted to say that you've got the pain factor nailed. I feel *both* of their pains. Kate's because of when I had my appendix out (you really *do* use your stomach muscles for everything - especially sneezing), and Castle's because of my wisdom teeth and my messed-up jaw. Strange thing to thank you for, but I'm just glad that someone's acknowledging the agony. Especially the jaw... ouch.

This is good, sooo good, well, i actually like every fic you make except the tragedy ones, so no new information. The first story was angsty, the second was crimy and this one is just the healing part and i like it :) Looking forward to read more of yours and waiting for a new one to come up! Keep writing! Loved this one too. I am secretly hoping there will be a fourth part where they figure out their relationship and they're both recovering. That would be great. But then again I understand how you might want to end it here. That fits too. Enjoyed this series a lot!
