Honestly, we need more 'sick' stories that explore the depth of Voldemort's cruelty and how it affects our characters-most stories (unfortunately) gloss over this important facet of Voldemort's personality and miss out on a lot of potential character development (not just Voldy's development, Harry and his friends', too.)

Thank God you are just on hiatus with this one. I seriously thought you'd abandoned. I thought hiatus was another account that you posted the rest of your story on (because I'm a noob and didn't know what it meant), until I used the internet and looked up the definition.
I cried, as in full on cried after this chapter (didn't really help I was listening to sad music). Still it's a great story and I like how Harry doesn't immediately switch to the Dark side. I feel like fanfic's that make him do that, don't have a full understanding of Harry's character.
Can't wait for the next chapter. P.S - Sorry for the long review.
