This, is the cutest thing ever. Seriously. love how Yamamoto just kinda went along with it when Hibari intruded into his life and omg, the way you described cat!Hibari's behavior through Yamamoto's eyes - not to mention his nickname for him (cat overlord) - is hilarious. It was so funny with Hibari and Mukuro's rival as CATS and omg, even as a cat, Gokudera hate Yamamoto lol. Yamamoto negotiating with Hibari about staying on his best behavior will forever stay in my mind, as well as that whole argument about the stitches. This is absolutely the best cat story read ever.

If inspiration ever strikes, please write more of this. Thank you for writing!

At first I was all, ah! What a cute AU, what perfectly IC characters, of course Hibari would be like that as a cat, and Yamamoto really is a dog person but trust him to melt over a cat no matter how hostile and finicky it is because he's Yamamoto and oh look Dino what a sweetheart and Gods Mukuro and what I assume to be Xanxus and Squalo

This is one of the funniest one-shots I've read in a while! I can just image Hibari as a cat, claiming Takeshi's place for his own and getting prissy when he doesn't get his way.

This is definitely going on my favorites!

First, I love this story with a passion. I adore how the characters are still themselves, even with some of them being feline. The visual of Cat!Gokudera still makes me happy. So very him! And Squalo! Xanxus! Yes!

I do unfortunately have bad news though.

I don't know if you're aware, but someone has essentially stolen this story, only switching Hibari and Squalo. They've literally copied some parts verbatim. It's on this website under the name 'Cat Servant' by VelociticDepths. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it, but I thought I'd let you know.

OhMYGOD. You are a pure genius. I would like to ramble on this right now, if only I HAVE THE WORDS TO SAY MY FEELS EXACTLY. I'm a cat person myself, what the hell. This only made me love this story more. And. Hibari. I have to hide my fangirl mode in the middle of classes. But nooo. I failed. Whatever, I don't really care about them staring at me. I love the ending so much I have to read it over and over again but still not getting over it. JUST. .GOD. Heaven only knows what I'm feeling right now. I say this is one of the bestest story evaaaah.

Waaah, this is adorable. And poor Yamamoto, for having to put up with kitty!Hibari all that time. Thanks so much for writing this, I absolutely adored it.

Aw, that was fun. The dialogs with cat!Kyouya were just priceless. I'm happy with the ending. I admit I was expecting some running away, but not that he would come back, and that was the best, all the hugging and cheek rubbing just fit perfectly. Anyway, awesome, like everything you write!

Ohm'gosh, that was hilarious! You captured the very essence of feline behavior and of Hibari's attitude perfectly. "Dogs have owners; cats have staff." This is so very true. I have three cats at my house: Hikari, my fickle female calico, Midnight, little sister Jo's whiney female black cat with a white little star on her throat, and my little brother's tomcat Oliver Ginger AKA O.G. I love them all, despite how Midnight won't let anyone hold her, Hikari acts dignified and proper around me but will play with the cat toys with anyone else as long as I'm absent, and even when O.G. jumps on the back of the recliner, tipping it at least 45 degrees backward and then falls asleep there and growls in your ear while he dreams. (It's funny, if you poke him when he's asleep he moans) I love all of cat-k
