This is THE best Boondocks fanfiction I've ever read. You've got basic writing skills down, all the dialogue was great, and this might be the first fanfiction where the characters' height was described in an interesting and clever way. Sure, it's still unnecessary, but it actually made the story MORE fun. I also like that Huey isn't a Tsundere like in so many other fanfics (I don't mind it, but I like that you did something new), and you even managed to make his love of reading downright ADORABLE, something that no other fanfiction writers seem to take advantage of. The whole Jazmine conflict was pretty unique as well, and I loved every minute of this fanfic. I was pretty close to tears at the image of Huey lying down in his childhood bed, far too small for him. I don't know HOW you did it, but somehow, "...then your dad comes home and shoots your mom on your sixth birthday", is infinitely more powerful than all the flashbacks, recollections and angsty foreshadowing in all the Boondocks fanfictions put together. You've made a masterpiece. The only things that I felt could have been better was that the ending didn't feel very resolved (Is Jazmine still hated? Will Riley continue being a freeloader? Will anyone else know what even happened to Huey?) And I would have liked to see a bit more of Huey struggling with losing his childhood so fast, like a bit more wishing for comfort, or a breakdown in his childhood room, or he plays with his old toys or reads old books or something. Honestly, though, I do like it a LOT how it is and I hope I get to see more fanfictions like this (sorry this took forever).

It was a great story and the ending was great homage to the comic strips tree. You did good on holding everyone to their original personality. But the store was hard to follow sometimes it needed some dividers or something that would make it easier to see the transitions but all in all a great story.

I loved this story. I loved how everyone grew up and just... found themselves, I suppose. You should be very proud of yourself, and I definitely hope you've not given up on this fandom.
