A 'Deal'? I wonder.. Considering the fact that R. has been roaming the multiverse for his son 'Bael'.. may his deal with Harry be to make Harry R.'s adopted son, and thus (perhaps) change Harry's name to 'Bael', or something else?

Everything is getting capitalized. Before, After, Deals, etc. there is much more After than there is Before. Yet, Before is the only thing Rumple wants to go back to, though he knows he cannot.

Now, you said you would be making references. I suppose the man I th white hair and his friend were a reference. To what?

Oh, poor Harry. Taking advantage of "Boy's" confused state to make a Deal? Admittedly, a very Rumple thing to do. Honestly, I have a feeling that the contents of said Deal will help Harry, so I suppose I can't argue much.

Now, in some cases, Harry becomes an actual pseudo-son. In others, he remains a servant. I am unsure of which direction you are taking this in. Well, if Rumple chooses to treat him as a son, he need not fear his reputation being tarnished.

In caking, there are some clear differences between Rumole and Gold. Yet, it is rare that I see them so pronounced. Normally, people choose to write him as only slightly unhinged. You went all out. At present, he really doesn't think like a human.

Even in the disjointed and simplistic child thoughts, you got across how badly Harry was treated. To have him think that a small dungeon, bad food and blankets is a godsend...well, it's just horrifying. Intellectually, I know that the Dursleys did bad things. However, to see it in written word makes it so much worse. Most especially when Harry downs revenue realize just how badly he was treated.

Harry could see through Rumple's magical disguise. How very interesting.

Personally, I don't think they ever starved him. Underced and possibly malnourished, yes. Actual starvation, no. That is not to say they were good caretakers. Far from it. Lots of emotional abuse, if not all that much pJudicial. In terms of beating, I don't think that much occurred, either. A few isolated incidents, like attempted frying pan bashing or letting him be chased up a tree. Other than that, I don't think they actually beat him. Some rough handling? Most likely. Well, you did say you were incorporating canon and fanon.

Alright, similar in concept to some others. Let's see what you do to make it your won. Not that I dislike the concept. Most people are better than the Dursleys.
