ARHGGGGG YOU $!%# &%$#&% God damn it, You left it on a &%($* & Cliff hanger. It would have been PERFECT if you just did another chapter to fill out the ending ARGHHHH.
I enjoyed the story greatly since its different as its something I would have loved the be a fan made game. so...
9/10 Ending was an Enragingly disappointment

I know it has been years since you wrote this. I really liked your story unfortunately I am not a fan of the ending. Perhaps an extra chapter at the end where Andrew and Jack meet but do not know each other but have a feeling the should or travel to a new dimension. Something showing that they survived and onto another adventure?

A god tier story that has ended in a really really unfulfilling way it hurts me but so it is amazing work

This story comes from a time when amazing mass effect stories flow. Things like crisis effect by demonfire and now I’ve found this gem almost 8 years after its release and I think it might be the best mass effect story I’ve ever read.

Man, I get it, you don't like Miranda, but come on. She's so out of character that it's not funny. I'm indifferent, maybe leaning a little towards liking her, after playing all the games. So I'm okay with her being slightly more antagonistic so you have a "bad guy" who isn't the Collectors, but this is too antagonistic to even be close to being in character for her. This is definitely dragging the "readability" of this story down for me, especially because I know she'll be this way or worse for the foreseeable future. Would honestly prefer at this point if you just changed canon a wee-bit, and her die during the escape from the Lazarus Facility.

I'm stopping here, the uber 'can do absolutely anything' biotics annoy me as well as him discovering how to get them in 3 years when a entire race hasn't in millennia. The relationship stuff was good though

How is this story not more popular? Is it cause people hate Jack? Good job, writing is great.

I know what I wrote about a year ago, but I had a craving to read this again, and while I still think an epilogue would be good, it does slightly annoy me that it is not listed under "Completed." I spent at least half an hour looking for this in the archive, searching all the completed stories, because I knew it was completed, at least it seemed like it. I suppose some form of resurrection would be nice, but I feel as if it would take something away. If you could place this under Completed, that would be great. Still a great story though, don't doubt that.

I read the story, and think it was pretty damn cool

And I really wanted to like this.

Ok so not only is Andy a super cyborg with carbon muscles and bones he also has a nanotech brain for enhanced reflexs and a healing factor. He also has biotics. Ok teetering on the edge of wtf.

Then we learn in this chapter that his Biotics are a match for an Asari. Not digging that.

Then we learn he can overpower Jack who is lorewise /thee/ most powerful human biotic in the game. A match for the likes of Samara who is noted for being obcenely strong even for a Matriarch.

You suddenly went from teetering on the edge to running full bore and hurling yourself off said edge.

Waaaaaay too powerful. Either make him an epic Infiltorator Cyborg Ninja or a Biotic on par with the likes of Jack and Samara. Both is just exceedingly horrible.
