That story was great!

I can so picture that happening in the show! A perfect explanation for Sam's clown phobia. And you wrote it just perfectly. The boys were completely in character. Great story. Thank you!

Clown's are scary SOB's! I HATE clowns! I'm so terrified of clowns and I have been as long as I can remember. Poor Sammy. I'm glad that Dean talked to him about his clown phobia. I know most people laugh at Sam's fear of clowns but being an adult that siffers from the same phobia I can tell you nothing is remotely funny about it. EXCELLENT JOB!

This actually makes sense. I've had a few discussions about that episode and why Sam was SO afraid. This explanation kind of puts it all into perspective. Well done!

You shouldn't fault yourself for thinking that there was some sort of abuse involved in Sam's fear of clowns. I wondered that myself, especially after watching this last episode. The look on Sam's face when he reminded Dean that he got dropped at the Pennywhistle restaurants while Dean chased chicks...there was something about that memory that was extremely 'off'. I also got the feeling that it was something that Sam pushed down, and never told anyone about it. Because he never dealt with it, it became an actual 'fear'. Too bad Dean didn't realize that, before he made Sam deal with the restaurant and clowns. Dean has a lot to make up to Sam for this time, in my opinion.

I really liked this because there had to be something else. It wasn't just a case of Sam not liking being dropped off there by Dean. So I loved how you explored it here. Very nicely done!
