I think Lucius just fell in love with Tim's genius

I like this chapter, I always go back to it. I enjoy the character dialogue and the way Bruce thinks.
I also enjoy Tim’s dedication to Bruce, the way he see’s Bruce’s obsessions and wants to rid him of their burden.

I also love and feel Alfred’s exasperation toward Bruce but he’s definitely given up arguing by now.

Great chapter. Gripping from start to finish. I like how you credibly incorporated Lucius' realization. No unbelievable coincidences. That's great writing.

Tim helped him into the main frame? That's fantastic. Good job Jack. I thoroughly enjoyed reading what Lucius would do after finding out Bruc's secret.

This Bruce is maybe a little too analytical for my tastes, but I can understand your take on him. Writing a story from Bruce's POV would definitely be challenging, so props to you for even giving it a whirl.

In contrast, I really enjoy how you've written Tim's dialogue. It makes him act as a fresh, young foil to Bruce, who seems to look at everything very empirically.

Maybe (if I may) work on being a little less descriptive: Some of your sentences seem to repeat the same idea in a lot of different ways (the fourth paragraph of this chapter, for example), but it doesn't add too much to our understanding. (I struggle with this A LOT when I write, so I just thought I'd throw it out there.) It's especially hard for you because I think you're trying to write in a style that resembles how Bruce would process everything: descriptively and thoroughly. But if you write in such a detached way, it makes it hard to appreciate Bruce for the dark, self-loathing person that he is - which is a large part of the reason why people empathize with his character so much in the canon.

Nonetheless, I think you've got a lot, lot of potential. You have great diction, good flow (i.e., varying sentence structures), and a very solid grasp on English grammar.

Nicely written (although I'm not certain what the last sentence exactly meant). It's not a story about Dick (yeah, I know, but I have to mention him), but I like Tim as well. Prefer Jason as the Red Hood, and Damian I only manage to tolerate if there is some humor to offset his abrasive personality. But, I enjoyed this.

How old are each of the boys, in your stories, when they arrive at the manor? Dick, I know is 12 when he shows up, although he doesn't become Robin until 14, I think), but what of Jason, Tim, and Damian?

Oh my God, I would have eventually succumbed to laughter at the ridiculousness and discomfort of the situation and totally ruined my working relationship with Tim. Absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed Bruce's discomfort and dismay . . . And then there was Tim's remark that asking about embarrassingly-placed scars was "fun".

(Although Dick is still my favorite) I loved your forays into odd and embarrassing situations with the boys.
