I wasn't sure about this premise but after few chapters... I was sold. What a freaking wild ride. I love it! I love the plot. I love your style of writing. I love your take on the characters. I love the relationship between John and Sherlock (even though I'm not much of a Johnlocker I was totally consumed by their love). Thank you for writing this piece of art.

Wow. So I read this in one day, and I am absolutely shattered now. Might have shed a tear or two here at the end. Which doesn't often happen. Your pacing is excellent. I was occasionally confused by things in the timeline being shifted around or scenes having ambiguous meaning, and I'll probably have to read this again to understand everything, but all of that is good in this case. I believe it is those elements of ambiguity and uncertainty that made this story so very suspenseful. I am still a bit unclear about the agency, and the roles that different characters played in it (Mary and Mycroft for the most part), although perhaps those things were intentionally unclear for the sake of the sequel? Or perhaps I just missed them. I couldn't bear to slow my reading pace, as I was really drawn in from the start, but I probably missed some things as a result.

Let me just say that the premise of John becoming an assassin in the wake of Sherlock's death is too wonderful and terrible and great for me to express. I didn't realize what exactly I was in for when I began reading, but opening this fic on a whim has absolutely paid off. The story unfolded rapidly, constantly expanding, constantly becoming more complicated, as though every beam of new clarity shed on a patch of dark also exposed a wealth of new shadows to bite my nails over. It also unfolded in ways that I would never have expected. I was always surprised, always in suspense.

I loved your original character, Mikheia, whose name also starts with M now that I think of it. Hmm... interesting.

I love your descriptive style. There is something so very molten about it. And that's as concrete as it's going to get in my current state, I'm afraid.

Well obviously I am destroyed because the idea of John being gone is too very terrible. But I see that you have written a sequel, which gives me hope, and which I will read tomorrow as I am a bit shell-shocked at the moment.

I am going to stop here. I really enjoyed your fic up until john and sherlock met up. The action sequence and john being a badass at the church was awesome but after that, everything went downhill. Everyone started talking. Sherlock was talking to mikheia and john about his feelings and poorly rationalizing actions that didn't need explanation. This entire last chapter is a lot of talking and nothing actually happening. They are so out of character when before they were so believable. I loved loved loved the beginning. Thank you so much for writing!
