I adore how u came back after a long break. Literally pulled an Aang "when the world needed him most,he vanished" but then returned to save us all again by continuing this fic. I love this story so much. thank youu

I’m so glad you’ve started updating this story again! This is one of my favorite Toph/Zuko stories (They are my Avatar OTP). I think you’ve done a great job plotting some of the challenges Toph and Zuko might be facing in their lives as they get older. Although they are apart for much of the story, it is clear why they should be together (like watching Zuko sink into paranoia and malaise as he tries to deal with all the court schemers and with his burden of responsibility). I’m especially loving your treatment of Azula and the bond between both siblings. It’s great to see them helping each other more and more, without losing the sense of their dark past or Azula’s sinister edge. I’m kind of hoping Azula will end up with a political position, as she is showing how strong she is at fighting for the Fire Nation. The scene between Azula and Ozai where she talked about love as weakness and debates whether to kill her father...wow, such character development that feels shocking yet completely believable.

Toph’s fiancé seems like a real tool. (Hmm. Maybe he should marry Mai! That would make Kuya happy if Mai got to be a princess.)

I’m really hoping for Toph and Zuko both to realize the chains of “duty” and “responsibility” that bind them aren’t doing them and their nations any favors. I’m curious how your story going forward will reflect the plot of the comic.

As a new reader I’m glad to say this story is so good! It is well written you have a good sense of their characters which is very appealing. I love delving into Zuko’s thoughts and feelings about everything around him. Azula turned into one of my favs in this story, I love her relationship with Zuko but especially with Toph (more of their interactions please). Toph is my favorite in this whole series and I definitely think your doing her justice. I love the Toko of it all. I know this is a slow burn but I’m living for Toph and Zuko interactions! I can’t stand Mi hopefully she’s gone soon (also hope my girl Toph is getting some on the side too [besides her one time with Zuko] bc it’s so not fair that he gets all the fun). I wonder what’s gonna happen with Mai and the Earth king’s son (also does he like like Zuko bc their last interaction gave off some type of vibes). So many questions! Can’t wait for updates! Great work!

I just reread the whole thing because I just the edit. I love the new changes they feel better for the overall story. I love the new plot with Ozai and Azula I'm scared to see where that leads because I really enjoy Azula. I hope to see more Azula and Toph interactions as their relationship is always fun to read. Thank you for not giving up on this fic

AGAIN I ADORE THE BANTER BETWEEN AZULA AND TOPH. I'm such a toko fan but I am absolutely adoring the azula and toph moments even more. they make me happy for azula and makes me wish azula and toph were actually friends cuz it would have been so cool and funny

Okay this must be the fifth time I reread this, I love it so much. The characterization of Zuko and Toph, the way you write Azula in humanizing way showing her spilt mind is just splended. I love reading Zuko obsession over Toph and how he needs that lotus flower. Toph denial of her feeling for Zuko then her acceptance of those feelings as something that can never be.
This story is good , I love having read it.
