Guest chapter 7 . 7/21 ... OK, I was all ready to go into a righteous rant about Buffy being effectively tricked and brainwashed into enslavement, but the note at the bottom of the chapter stopped that cold. Specifically the part about Xander's group dealing in absolutes, aka the White perspective. I just hope you understand that the White perspective on morality is NOT a good one; the Magic devs themselves have acknowledged that White is not a "good" color, and is also the only color that genuinely believes itself to be. |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/7 Xander halloween-wank. How original. |
Guest chapter 11 . 6/27 I do believe this is one of the best story I have read in a good while. So thank you for writing |
sniper757 chapter 11 . 6/14 when you remember a great story and use google to find it only to relies it has not been updated in many years. read it again because it still is good, just sad it will never be finished |
TheDisturbedDragon chapter 11 . 3/12 I love this. It is a perfect example of why MTG is so over the top compared to other magic systems. Now just imagine someone like Bolas who has been playing with these rules for fifteen thousand years, and you start to see why Planeswalkers are multiversal threats. |
Quietlovingman chapter 11 . 1/9 Now what will they do with Godzilla when the special power wears off? Or will they just trade off each turn with one of them casting it over and over? |
Quietlovingman chapter 9 . 1/9 I am glad the Phaser made a comeback. It would be especially funny if it was Chekov's Phaser. |
Quietlovingman chapter 8 . 1/9 Excellent chapter, I always felt that the Mayor was too crafty to be taken out simply but never put any real thought into the types of protections he might have created over the decades. |
Quietlovingman chapter 7 . 1/9 I liked the solution of modifying the cards... The photocopier is just silly broken! |
Quietlovingman chapter 6 . 1/9 Considering the fluid nature of reality, going by strict interpretation of the MTG rules seems harsh, let them fudge how many of a card they can have if you want. I won't complain. |
Quietlovingman chapter 5 . 1/9 Of all the girls in the series that could use a bit of an angelic mind overlay, Buffy is one. She is far to much a self centered teen to be the protagonist with a great destiny, that was in many ways the whole point of the show and a lot of it's conflict derived from her struggle to balance being a teen with being a savior. But when she is left behind like this it makes it easy to see that she has the potential to step up and be a great hero, once she gets her head unstuck. |
Quietlovingman chapter 3 . 1/9 Nice interpretation of the colors, I agree about Giles, but I am unsure about the Watchers... They seem less black and more Colorless to me. Running their war against evil strictly by the numbers rather than with care or malice. |
Quietlovingman chapter 2 . 1/9 Nice followup chapter, I misread the Mox Diamond as a Mox Lotus in the last chapter, that makes much more sense, though is less funny. The Power-up continues, though it is definitely affecting their minds. Gotta be careful about that. They could easily wind up in a position to fix all the worlds ills and yet decide not to due to Free Will or some shit. Always a consideration when a power-up comes with a personality overlay. |
Quietlovingman chapter 1 . 1/9 I love the initial setup for this. Though Xander encountering any planeswalkers while having the Mox Lotus is just too funny. In my Head Cannon, the Unhinged Cards are not even remotely real in the MTG world. Having someone walking around with Real versions of them would turn everything up on it's head. Excellent. |
Burned Cookie chapter 8 . 7/20/2019 A truly insane, very cracklike fic. I LOVE IT! But did they really just mindkill buffy? Thats seems a bit... cruel, just for the crime of being forcefully conscripted by the council? |
