Funny this new obsession spreading through the fandom with Kol, after only two ten minute scenes, yeah?

Anyway, I've recently found myself shipping Kol/Bonnie, which is odd because 1) I don't like Bonnie, and 2) we don't know anything about Kol. Still, Kol as you've written his is exactly the way I've imagined him to be. A bit quieter than his siblings, a little less hell-bent, but still a vampire, with some less-than-pure motives. But yeah, even with just a glimpse of Kol, I've already become taken with his character, and am pretty open to any pairing with him!

I am a straight Forwood shipper, but I very much enjoyed this one-shot, and I do hope you'll write more! The format of this fic fit perfectly for this story, but I do hope you'll write more fics, maybe a bit longer and with more detail (which according to your A/N, seems like you are). Still, like I said, the format for 'She Pretends' was perfect, and not a style we see often. A follow-up might be cool, if you have the muse for it!

I hope tomorrow's episode gives us some good Kol material!

You haven't the slightest clue how much I love this. I'm honestly huge on klaroline, but I love the idea of Kol taking an interest in Caroline for nothing more than to get under Niklaus's skin and gradually take a deeper interest in her because he's starting to like her himself. Ugh. There needs to be more Caroline/Kol in the world. I genuinely hope you write more about these two.
