I am relatively new to the world of Merlin, but certainly not fanfiction, so welcome. I really like where this is going - AUs, especially for fantasy shows, always intrigue me, and this is fabulous so far. The characterization just in the first chapter is excellent.

I would wonder, however, if you have a betareader? There are some puncuation and grammar errors that are really simple to fix, and other errors could be caught if you have a good beta. I would definitely suggest it, and best of luck :)
