Slughorn reminds me of Snape and may have been out of character .I think Professor McGonagall would have disciplined them as their head of story is entertaining .My favorite part was "You take that back Sirius Black!" "My theory is not insane, and neither am I!There is plenty of rational proof that Albus Dumbledore is a werewolf!"

Wouldn't it be great if one of Canon Jame's main traits was that he constantly made up crazy conspiracy theories all of the time.

Very good! The only canon thing that makes me hesitate is that the boys found out in 2nd year that Remus was a werewolf, so placing this in 3rd or beyond makes it a bit AU. Otherwise, good characterizations! I love Peter in this. And James's conspiracy theories. Hilarious!

I like the story and your characterisation, though my Potter-nerdiness says, 'They figured out in their second year!' By their fifth, they knew how to become Animagi to help Remus.
