This was very well written. I like that you show the complexity of their personalities and relationship. I do think Mycroft will always help Sherlock when he can, and I do think that is a major difference between the brothers. I don't know why Sherlock treats Mycroft like an afterthought, but I do know he's an adult, and whatever it is...LOL he needs to get over it. And Mycroft can be protective without being so all controlling. It might do a lot towards healing their relationship.

This definitely makes up for the near heart attack you gave me when you randomly announced "incest!" in the middle of the episode. (Though i may never truly paychologically recover) Good work.
