Reviews for Counted Among the Traitors
Chica Plutonio chapter 21 . 7/4
And so I reach the end of this story. After three days reading, near 400 new words learned, and after so many tears, here I am. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and lessons learned. I don't know if it was your intention to teach something, but I did learn a few things, like forgiveness and love.
At first I thought that maybe Edmund would grew too wary of people, but now that idea doesn't make sense to me anymore. His forgiveness covers all those wrongs against him, and you did a great job showing his deep love for his family and kingdom. He's got such a forgiving heart! Even despite all the pain inflicted upon him, the questions and hurt, he still cares deeply for his brother and is decided to save him despite the dangers. He also learned to trust in Aslan and was rewarded for his faithfulness. That scene at the mountain was specifically deep. He faced a difficult decision, but he remained faithful and chose to trust Him when everything seemed lost. Well done, Edmund!

That sentence to Susan «Dear Daughter, do you not know, in all of this, how long I waited for you to call on Me?» was so powerful. It had me in tears. I've been there too, and I think I understand all the feelings involved. What a moving scene!

And... speaking of Gil... He was a cunning smart villain. He planned all this and was able to pull it out (off? I'm not sure of this phrasal verb) It's scary... I'm glad his schemes where discovered and stopped, but I kinda pity him. He could have lived a happy life in Narnia, but he chose treachery and deceit and murder. His greed had no boundaries. Sadly, his actions only could lead to his own death.

Regarding Peter and Lucy, now I see why Peter seemed a bit out of character back then. I couldn't believe he gave into such blatant lies. I was like "dude he's your own brother, how could you not believe him!" But now that the whole perspective is clear, it's no surprise that he was so easily led...
Lucy was very clever and always so loving and caring. You portrayed her just right. She's got such a beautiful heart!

Anyway, it was an adventure worth to read. It felt Narnia-like, and I totally love to see some of the dearest characters like Phillip, king Lune and Mr. Tumnus at the end. And Aslan ! Oh every appearance was warming and comforting. My eyes were brimmed with years when he appears on the throne room and honours Edmund. It was the best part. The whole scene was beautiful! At the beginning of the story, Edmund is stripped from his titles and banished from Narnia, and it was just the proper thing to have them back with honour before all Narnians to see. Hail king Edmund the Just!

What a warming ending! I totally loved it!
Thank you for bringing us this amazing story.

Yeeeeees! Finally!
Chica Plutonio chapter 18 . 7/4
You know, Lucy totally got me. I was beginning to think she was drugged too, as the plan to kill her in the sea failed... Then I saw it was all acted. Well played, Lucy, well played.

Oh that ending! This man is very smart. I wish he used his intelligence for the good and not got his evil schemes...
Chica Plutonio chapter 16 . 7/4
*sobbing" this chapter was very touching Edmund and Lucy finally reunited! It was a very emotional moment, I cried with them. Their relationship is so beautiful!
That scene with Peter was the best. How they did this thing with the litany, even when Peter is very weak was a precious moment. It brings tears yo my eyes.

Well done!

Chica Plutonio chapter 11 . 7/4
I love that verse from Isaiah! I thought that Aslan's words sounded familiar to me, now I see why.
I loved to see little Corin, and that reference to The Horse and His Boy was a nice touch. I smiled when Phillip appear, he's such a great character!

Uhhh I wonder whose that female voice belonged to. I thought that this villain was acting alone, having someone else working for him cannot be good. Ah, my Peter. He must think he's losing his mind and now he'll be more wary...
Chica Plutonio chapter 10 . 7/4
The last couple of chapters have been a good pause after so much drama. What a relief! Aslan as always, is so comforting to have him, even in just a dream. I smiled when Edmund was so comfortable sleeping beside him, and he laughs. I have a silly smile right now while writing this.

King Lune was so fatherly to Edmund I almost cried when they met. Edmund has been through so much he couldn't expect such a warming welcome. I'm glad there's still people who listen to His voice!

I'll keep reading, this is getting good.
Chica Plutonio chapter 8 . 7/3
Wow. It's a very emotionally charged chapter. I lost it at «Aslan, where are You? Am I not still Yours? Or have You disowned me, too» that was deep. Again, marvelous job describing characters' situation and how they feel.
The loneliness Edmund must be feeling is overwhelming.

The nightmare gave me chills. And poor Peter! He doesn't have his brother on his side anymore. It must have been quite a difficult decision to take, but I suspect Gil is behind all. His words seems appropriate, but it kinda gives me the feel of a devil's advocate's. And now he's offering him some wine? Could it be the source of his headaches and the rest?
Chica Plutonio chapter 7 . 7/3
I'm wordless. There must be an explanation!
Chica Plutonio chapter 6 . 7/3
I'm a emotional wreck right now T_T
Good job writing the scenes. They're powerful, it's easy to imagine it developing before one's eyes, the hurt, the betrayal, everything.

*sight* my poor Edmund. I want to hug him and give him some reassurance T_T
Chica Plutonio chapter 5 . 7/3
