I think you captured Gary's personality pretty well. :) But ever since the episode when Spongebob goes into people's dreams, I've imagined Gary with a deep British accent. :P

I get the feeling sometimes that Gary does get annoyed by SpongeBob's behavior. I've always wondered how he feels to live with the likes of SpongeBob.

When he narrates, it sounds like a professor. Probably part of his personality. Gary was always kind of a "whatever I could care less" kind of persona to me.
