Oizys tried possess Delight, then Despair took her sister's place, then died so Oizys would "die" too?

Just wanted to say that although I knew that this was in total contradiction to canon, it was a great read and a very creative re-imagining of how Despair died and Delight became Delirium.

It's an interesting take. I enjoyed reading it, especially the prologue. Good job!

It may not be canon, but I still like the way you tied together two of the big mysteries of the Sandman comics: how Delight became Delirium and how the first Despair died. Writing was nice too.

Hehehe. I like it. Some sort of gift-giving ceremony for lil Orpheus. Actually, this kinda reminds me of two things: one, how Pandora is gifted with various talents at the start of her myth, and also a little of Sleeping Beauty and the gifts of the fairies.
