chapters 2 and 3, the dreams and discussing them, had me laughing out loud :D. other parts feel sweet and slow, like molasses :)

Loved it! They should totally put this on the show...

I really enjoyed the dreams that both Rick and Kate had that started the story. Of course, some aspects of the dreams were very real and it was interesting to see them wonder about that. The great thing about that was it was slowly drawing Rick and Kate closer to one another. You did an excellent job with that.

Then there were the interrupted moments they had. The first at the precinct was very well done. Adding the antics of Ryan and Esposito made it better. I loved how that wound up giving Rick and Kate two days away. I liked how you had the boys whine about that and how Kate went up to them after coming out of Gates' office.

I enjoyed seeing Kate show up at the loft when Rick was about to leave. Then it was at the piano they got interrupted again by Alexis. But I really enjoyed how they finally let their feelings go while Rick read to Kate. That was just perfect for them.

Great job.
