I thought that Jack and Roger were together. Or almost together. Does this mean that there is no Jack/Ralph? I could live with that because you have this way...I don't know what to call it. Just the way you wrote it leaves it kind of open. But not in a bad way. lol

So Ralph doesn't know about Simon? From the look of it, he also doesn't know what happened to Jack. I hope you explain this later... I just had to let you know that this is still a great story. :)

I feel like my heart is trying to crawl up my throat. Goddammit, these two just kill me. I just love the dynamics of their relationship so much because it's just so raw and dysfunctional and real, as it should after everything that went down on the island. I understand your unhealthy obsession with this book because damn it all to hell if Golding's Lord of the Flies isn't one of the best, controversational books out there; I'm developing quite an obsession myself which says a lot because I'm quite obsessive over all books. I really love how you didn't completely disregard their personalities, you stuck to them, dynsfunction and all. You didn't make downplay everything that happened on the island, it would take a lot for people, especially kids, to just forget trauma like that. I also really liked how you brought Simon back and through Jack as well and I loved how ypu portrayed Roger's relationship with Jack. I never really thought of their relationship in that way and now that I think about it makes as enough sense as Jack's obsession with Ralph (high five for your ingenuity on discovering that, not many people do). The ending was perfect, you didn't force it to bend to your will, you wrote just as if played out on real life. Sometimes you can't have everything you want, you have to choose what you win or lose. Now I'm going to shut up. PS: Allison was really annoying.

Hi! I just wanted to point that Simon actually has dark hair and not blond; that's Ralph. But, interesting AU so far. A different take on Jack's and Simon's relationship too since Jack always treated Simon as an outcast.

Not what i expected at all, kind of depressing, but a good read none the less.

Just my fucking luck. I find an awesome story on its final chapter. Oh well, this was really good! Good job finishing it and whatnot.

This was so sad! I wanted to just burst into tears at the end. But, I dunno why, but I was expecting Jack to find Ralph's name in the Obituary or something. But this was beautiful and you are an amazing writer!
