You are still among my favourite authors. And I am re-reading this because I love your story. This was my first m/m couple and my first fanfic addiction. It feels like opening the chest of awesome memories. To remember just why I love them... Why I will always love them. Thank you for giving me such an awesome memory to come back to.

I realize I'm quite late to the party, so this might not have much impact given how long ago this was written. Nonetheless, I would be remiss if I didn't tell you how much I loved this story. You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me angry, you made me hopeful. You took my two favorite characters (even after all this time) and you wrote them as friends, first and foremost, and it was heartwarming. You wrote them as casual, no strings attached, lovers and it was fun. As it turned into more, at least for Duo, you kept me guessing (though, unabashadley, hopeful!). This may have stolen the top spot as my favorite story (I could *not* stop reading), and I promise that is no small feat.

I do have to say I became addicted to the story like Duo became addicted to Heero. This was an amazing read and I love how you write these two.

"Thousand Words" beats "Loneliest Road" by a very slim, tiny margine. The emotional pain in LR keeps me coming back for more reads, but there's something - a postively yearning for more that comes with this fic that has claimed First Prize. Maybe also knowing that "something more" is about to published has something to do with it, but I don't think so.

My love for pain and turmoil is out shone for the I-didn't-know-you-were-the-one-until-it-accidentally-happened story. Seriously, I can't wait for the nasty epligoue you have in mind!
