Oh my God! I just watched The Reichenbach Fall again today (that was a mistake) and just as I think I've calmed down again, I read this and now I'm crying - the real sort, when your face screws up and your eyes leak and you make noises like some African animal in its death throes.

This is a brilliant story.

I reviewed this the first time you posted it - before it was lost in the ether. Anyway this pretty much killed me. You somehow managed to make this highly unlikely situation, totally believable and in character. Awesome and beautiful. Loved it.

This is BEYOND incredible. Really, it's gorgeous. Sherlock is totally bang on his character the whole time, which is something a lot of authors don't seem to nail. John, too, but especially Sherlock. He's the harder one to capture.

I love angst. I clicked on this because it said angst. But I was pleasantly surprised with your little bits of fluff strewn throughout, what with them hugging each other (adorable, though the term "cuddle" was a little strange) and Sherlock's little forehead-kiss.

The dialogue you use is perfect. Thoughtful and easy to follow.

I just love this. A lot.

OMG, this has to be one of saddest, heartbreaking Sherlock-stories I have read so far... awesome, just awesome. I cried while reading it. You really write beautifully!

A scared Sherlock, asking John for a... what's that thing called? A cuddle, my dear detective :) Sherlock asking John to stay with him. Thinking about all the occasions when John helped him, saved him, was there for him. This is more than I can bear! :)

Please, keep writing. I'm now going to read through all of your stories, can't wait to see what else you've got in store.
