Love it love it love it! believe it or not I too am writing final fantasy stories purely for my own enjoyment as I have always been good at that kinda thing, but I must say you have told this story brilliantly. I have wanted for so long a ff8 story to read and you have answered my prayers :) if square enix have any sense they should publish your stories as i'm sure they would benefit from the huge amount of die hard fans that would want to read this. Gosh, it's been a while. Looky! I've finally figured out how to do the review thing for my mobile. Hooray!

Anyway, on to the actual review.
I loved it. Every bit of it. The way you portrayed the characters are spot on. Your adaptations of some scenes, especially the battle sequences are very good too. Your style of writing makes it so vibrant to the readers, that it's like we're watching a movie. And that is a skill that is hard to come by, so for that I salute you friend. Like what I said in my message(i dunno if you remember), the wave of nostalgia...it's definitely there, man. Awesome, awesome job.
I will definitely look forward to more of your works. After this comment, I'll head on to your Crisis Core story. I can't wait to start on it, as Zack Fair is one of my favorite ff characters.

One of the better, if not the best, novelization of FFVIII. Your writing skill is unparalleled. Do you have any plans on making Bonuses for FFVIII like you did with FFVII?

The end to another excellent adaption. I wholeheartadly support the Crisis Corr adaption. I love that game, and I'd love to see your adaption of it. I'm sorry I can't offer any advice for writers block, I hope you get over it soon.

You are an excellent author. I'm terribly sorry that I haven't reviewed any other chapter, but starting now I plan on reviewing each chapter I read. I know I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I must say, it's quite refreshing to have a author who actually updates frequently. Thank you.

So far in your FF8 story, I gotta say that I love your fight scenes. They are undoubtedly the most well-written and detailed that I've come across. Not only are they the best, but they're INTERESTING! Usually when people put in the fight scenes, I'm bored out of my mind. Whereas you execute them flawlessly and always keep me on my toes, wanting more. Thank you for doing this, and I will get to reading more of your wonderful chapters as soon as I can.

I liked your take on the talk between Squall and Laguna. And I'd really like it if you could, I dunno, maybe add your own extras after the story is over and put that "when all of this was over, they could talk" part. Can't wait for the next updates.

This was another great chapter! I enjoyed Squall's inner dialogue and how he comes to realize Rinoa really doesn't want to leave him. I'm of course looking forward to him rescuing her in the next chapter!

Hey, this was a pleasant surprise. I was actually reading chapter 17 and then I realized you updated just now. So I'm thankful for the quick update.

Finally they're on the ragnarok, and I like how you're giving hints about Rinoa's powers and Squall being aware of it. The game didn't really tell us if Squall had seen her abilities in action, so I'm glad you worked that in the fight scenes.

One of my favorite scenes in the entire game is next and I'm excited to read it. Keep it up!
