I just finished reading! Wow, that was incredible! Any plans to continue it? I certainly hope so.

It's certainly a heavier read than most fanfic, but I loved it. The deep, philosophical musings on the heart and soul are absolutely fascinating. The inner workings of wants, desires, motivations, good vs. evil, all of it.

And the action! You describe the action scenes exquisitely - I could see the scenes in my mind and practically feel every drop of adrenaline. The creatures you created are stunning. That nandu - ugh... fantastical perfection. LOL.

You certainly have a way with words. I've been an avid reader for decades (yeah I'm old!) and there were even a few words I had to look up. XD Well done.

Link's and Ghirahim's characters seem spot on. I would love to see where this twisted little relationship you started building is going!

Okay, so I tracked this story down after reading what’s up on AO3 and tried to add it to my favorites, but apparently it’s already there? I must have added it way back in 2013 or something to have forgotten about it now, but anyway, it’s great. I love all the trials Link had to go through, and the parallel symbolism of the demonic “virtues”. Poor Link has taken quite an emotional and moral beating, and I’m interested to see where it all takes him (though I wish I could reassure him on the moral side of things—he’s not doing as badly as he believes). Power/manipulation messed me up, man—the realization that when Link looked at the defeated beast and considered killing it, he was essentially staring at his own future if he couldn’t break the cycle of manipulation... basically staring at himself. I half expected the beast to BE Link once I realized what you were angling for there. Honestly though, it’s been ages since I found a story that I enjoyed as much as this, and I’m just in such a good mood about it. Thanks for sharing!

...also, it’s a really good thing that I’m not Link, because WOW I suck at riddles :D

Yesh, I love this so much, I feel there need to be more good stories with Ghirahim and Link, that don't always have to be romance... Keep up the good work!

My favorite game has to be Majora's Mask hands down, by far the most impacting game on me, and my facorite character is a tie between Skullkid (with the mask) and Ghirahim. I'm leaning more towards the latter though, because I'm only really fond of Skullkid's design more than anything.

Welcome back! Imagine my delight and disbelief at seeing an update to this fic. I even skimmed the first chapter to make sure it was the one I remembered. I think your efforts payed off, it was just as suspenseful as I would have hoped. Though I might have thought Afentis would have more cryptic things to say at the end of this trial, guess she's saving it for when he gets back to the main room. ;) I was genuinely worried Link was going to kill the resulting creature by the way, despite me believing/hoping he would not, just goes to show you've still got it. Omg your writing is amazing as always. I really missed this story and you have no idea how happy you've made me by updating again! I swear I can remember when I read it back in 2012 and was completely obsessed with it. I literally checked the website everyday just to see if there was a new chapter (I didn't even have an account then). Also, this fic is really important to me because it was my introduction to the world of fanfiction so I kind of feel like I've grown up with it. I'd appreciate it a lot if you decided to continue writing this amazing and compelling story since I would be devastated if you didn't haha.

This is such an interesting story! I especially like Ghirahim being his usual unpredictable self, your take on what the demon realm could possibly be like, and Link's struggle as he solves the riddles. It's fun over thinking and trying to solve it before he does while reading along, although I only managed to figure out one beforehand, when he was struggling with the second archway...

I really enjoy your writing style! It's so easy to get pulled into it and picture everything happening with all the great descriptions.

This story is incredible. I'm glad you returned to finish it; it deserves it. Your writing skills are amazing. If you wrote all of those lyrics yourself, that's an accomplishment in and of itself. You are truly talented, and I'm looking forward to seeing this story reach its conclusion.

I got so excited when I saw the update! This is one of the first stories I read on this site and it instantly took me back to reading it over and over again. And this chapter was far from a disappoitment! The fight was so intense and amazing, I honestly wasn't sure if Link was going to break free or not. Hopefully this isn't the end for him - hopefully his bane can help. After all this suffering he deserves peace! :3
