I remember listening to the radio show being rebroadcast in the early 1970s. I bought the books that had been reprint. I thought The Shadow was really awesome.

Lovely and heart-breaking. I both want to know more about his legacy and never want to look at this again because it makes me sad.

At last I know what happened to The Shadow. I always thought he had perished in a valiant battle against evil. What an exceptional 'last chapter' of our hero's story. To have assumedly have finally found peace, & to have lived to the end of his days.
